Don't you fancy a bean stew to brighten up this cool Wednesday?
You already know that fabada is typical of the north, precisely because of how cold it is and that a lot of spoon dishes are made in winter.
So prepare your fabes and let's get to work that you will have a recipe to suck your fingers.
Ingredients
500 grams of beans
200 grams of cured bacon
2 sausages
2 blood sausages
200 grams of pork shoulder
1 onion
Salt
Elaboration
The first thing you have to do is soak the beans the night before (12/13 hours needed).
Place the beans in a wave and cover them with water. Bring them to a boil and add the chopped onion and the sausage (whole because otherwise it will break during cooking).
You can put the sausages and blood sausages you want but it is true that if they are Asturian they leave a much more successful flavor for the fabada.
Lower the heat, add the salt and keep cooking for about 2 hours.
Do not stir the beans or you will break the beans.
And this is it, you just have to enjoy this delicious dish.
