Garbanzo beans

In Spain three important varieties are distinguished: Castilian chickpea, milky white chickpea and Pedrosillano chickpea.

Before cooking, it is recommended to soak the chickpeas a few hours before so that they soften a little and cook faster. With them, typical stews of our gastronomy are made in addition to incorporating them into salads or creams.
