A food and beverage internationalization platform will be installed in Campillo de Altobuey
The project was born from the collaboration of the Cuenca company Pasión Manchega and the ISVEN Group, a company that already develops similar initiatives in León and Córdoba.
Invest in Cuenca collaborates in the implementation and start-up of a platform for the internationalization of food and beverage products in La Manchuela.
In this case, the project was born from the collaboration of the Cuenca company Pasión Manchega and the ISVEN Group, a company that is already developing similar initiatives in León and Córdoba.
To develop this project they have the help of Invest in Cuenca, a project of the Cuenca Entrepreneurs Confederation that seeks investments and installation of new companies in the province of Cuenca and that has the sponsorship of the Provincial Council and the collaboration of Globalcaja and Las Flores Garage.
Precisely, this project was presented by these investors to the president of the Provincial Council, Álvaro Martínez Chana, in the Provincial Palace in order for him to know first-hand this initiative that aims to promote food and beverage products internationally from La Manchuela.
Thus, from this project they support the implementation of this initiative in Campillo de Altobuey where an operations center will be located to be close to the producers and from there to reach the different markets with adequate facilities for their storage and distribution.
Also present at this meeting were the provincial president, the mayor of Campillo de Altobuey, Paco López, the president of CEOE CEPYME Cuenca, David Peña, the technician of the Investor Service Office, Julián Sorando, the CEO of ISVEN, Sergio García, the development director of ISVEN, Jana Izquierdo, as well as the manager of the company Pasión Manchega, based in Campillo de Altobuey, Pedro Espada.
Experience
Invest in Cuenca highlights that this agreement allows us to have a company experienced in international intermediation, with a very well established client portfolio and positioned in markets such as China, Korea, Japan, Russia, North Africa, the United States, Canada or South America.
The intention is that these works have a short-term impact on producers and companies in the province, making visits to the origin of the product, as well as to the facilities to control the processes, being able to access the food and beverages of our province to international markets with millions Of customers.
This project, therefore, wants to overcome the obstacles that these food and beverage companies encounter due to issues such as lack of capacity, poor choice of distribution channels, insufficient business structure and they solve it with a team that has technicians specialized in advice and management in internationalization.
